It's all abt relationship, which, as u said, "是完全不受時空區隔的". And what's more, it's nothing to do w/ money. It's interesting that there's so many metaphors in the movie: 1. ka on had a taste of the chiu chow mooncake from his uncle, and said it didn't taste good.. then picked up a pack of tissue, which clearly symbolizes sth else.. 2. 鮑起靜 didn't go to visit her mom in the hospital, but chose to accompany 阿婆梁歡 to sha tin to visit her grandson. etc. etc. With them, the director is really pushing hard to make the audience think, as they really stand out in the movie. I'm kinda surprised that no one picked them up in the reviews that i've seen. As for the casting, what can i say -- it made the movie alive. Anyway, love your review. Fountain of Joys..
